@eye95 Yes, I guess I was taking Plantinga as referring to the 'average person'...which I suppose would be median?? Or maybe his quip assumes an even distribution of intelligence...but I guess that math does work out in the average-as-mean sense!! Thanks!

@TravDickinson Mathematically, it is possible. Average 90 100s and 10 tens, you get 91. All 90 of the 100s will be above average. It is mathematically impossible for 90% to be above the median because the median will be somewhere in the 90%

@dualravens Yea, I worry that in our entertainment soaked world many people just go through life never thinking about these things. They don't seem to even rise to the level of a bad theologian/philosopher.
