People like Fujitora, Koby, Sword, etc, might want to focus more on protecting people so they turn. Akainu, upon finding out about Imu, might decide to lead the marines how he wanted to

the idea of sabo fighting akainu gets more insane than it already is when you remember that in this show nobody does anything at all except for luffy

@TravisB2025 @Jaydan133 I’ll say 99.999% since i’m not the one writing but still everything points towards it being haki. I really doubt its a situation where mihawk’s physical strength is just a greater offensive boost than shanks’ haki

Shanks is like a top 3-4 haki user at best

@Sm1le202 Your statement makes no sense. You just said sword skills encompasses everything. So a swordsman can be stronger than another swordsman for various reasons like a Df power, or physical strength. Not just haki

Swordsmanship/sword skills is literally the power of a swordsman. It takes into account their haki, and or df’s, their physical stats, and their proficiency with the blade. Oda specifying sword skills is exactly the reason why we believe it’s already been confirmed. Because unless you believe that Zoro has been learning haki all this time for no reason, then you’d have to believe that greater sword skills = greater haki (assuming you don’t have a df)

@Rebel_ I feel certain teams can mesh on maps quicker tho. Like Miami look ahead on fringe but 1 month from now they may not look as dominant. Lat look great on sake but a month from now they may change like how it did for the mates when everyone understands these maps

OpTic have looked mortal lately. They dominated all of Stage 2 up until Grand Finals, and I think a win there would’ve sent them on an absolute tear the rest of the year. Kinda feels like that Major 2 loss knocked some of the wind out their sails.

@Gilfdon I think giving his all doesn’t mean he’s at peak performance tho. Like he wasn’t full initially fighting kizaru. He wasn’t fighting with true intentions to beat kizaru as well. This also applies to kizaru with not wanting to kill vegapunk and not wanting to fight luffy

@laughffy We’re missing an emotional element to the main cast for it to be top 1 to a majority of fans. Imo it’s top 1 but that’s the one thing it lacks compared to water 7 or marineford. Harald rocks and maybe Loki should make up for that tho

@TheGhostOfHope @nikolinalepht I understand that but most overloads don’t end due to scoring especially overloads with good teams. The clock stopping favors a team that is down. There is no benefit to picking up with a good lead.

@TravisB2025 @nikolinalepht This implies that the team that’s got a higher score can’t just end the game by scoring again which is indeed a thing. It’s not like the clock running out is the only way to win.

Pausing clock when holding the device was like the best thing they did for the mode… Made it so we didn’t have games where it became mathematically impossible to win and you could always come back.

@nikolinalepht @TheGhostOfHope I’m specifically talking about after a half. Why pick up ball with a good lead if it stops clock? With old rules it favors picking up while new rules don’t. It’s better to make teams pick up than to not imo

@nikolinalepht @TheGhostOfHope If you’re up 3 and in good side ur not going to attempt to score bc that stops the clock. With no time stoppage you will keep trying to score or at least picking up the ball

@TravisB2025 @TheGhostOfHope Not really, people just searching for a reason to complain. If you’re on good side you’re not going to waste it by playing TDM and not scoring. Plus if you get up you earn the right to have a leaders advantage like every other mode.

@nikolinalepht @TheGhostOfHope Yes but with constant clock there’s negative for a team with a lead to constantly attempt to score unlike with paused timer because it also paused after a score.

@TravisB2025 @TheGhostOfHope Same can be said about CTF, uplink and control. You can still do the exact same thing even without the paused timer it just takes longer.
