The Disabled American Veterans has $530 million in assets, but is allegedly snatching up local chapters donations. @DAVHQ chapter in Sacramento received a $39,000 donation from a deceased woman's estate for building repairs. DAV later claimed the money under its policy and seized the chapter's bank account after the local post resisted, eventually revoking its charter. It's no surprise the DAV is now lobbying against the Take Care of America's Veterans Act.
