@silagechopper That little slice of heaven will make you money! Very nice! Pretty amazing how much easier it is and goes when you don’t have to fight the elements!

Tales from the Feedyard (Uncensored)
Fixed the discharge chain and it’s 65 degrees in here and 6 degrees outside. What an amazing experience. I’ve gotten so used to just being miserable I didn’t know any better.

@lawrence_farms Have a cousin that had this happen but he wasn’t as lucky lost eyesight and burnt his lung pretty badly. He had not wind it was hanging. We used anhydrous for a lot of years but switched to dry. Might pay more but don’t t have to worry about something like this happening!

This Thanksgiving I’m thankful to be alive. Scariest ever had with NH3. Hose got caught on hitch and broke the cast thread on the hose. Looked back and had full blown NH3 blowing right at tractor. Pointed tractor into wind, opened door then threw in neutral and bailed.

Wow. @Tim_Walz claims his mother waits for her social security check every month to feed herself. Tim has a net worth of over $1 million, and yet has his 90 year old mom depending on her social security check for basic necessities like food. What a piece of sh-t!

@silagechopper We got to demo a 9700 last year. Hell of a machine. Really liked it until we saw the payments. Decided we would run the older paid off choppers. Pretty insane. Would have to chop a lot of tons to make it work and I’m not that excited anymore about running around doing that!!!!!

Sitting on my back porch tonight and I can hear multiple combines running in distance. Crisp cool fall evenings combined running. Is there a better time of year?

@silagechopper That is some fun stuff to chop!! So much quieter to run through than corn. Usually rolls out the tons.

Has anyone dropped milo stalks behind a combine to bale? How's it work? Tonnage? feed value? Thinking of baling a section we have for carryover for next year.

Kamala is asked how she will fix inflation... She answers by saying generic words about what inflation is for a solid 45 seconds. Has there ever been a dumber person running for president? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤣🤣🤣

@JFKFarms The last couple of years I have been chopping end of July on dry land that was burning up. 2012 we started July 20 and earliest I have ever chopped corn.

Roughly estimating 30-40% of this particular field is under water and not much sign of it going down anytime soon. Across the farm(2000-ish total row crop), guess-timating that we'll lose 400ish acres to water. All fields had some level of hail as well.
