Servant leadership in action; @VUmedicine students are so talented. I am so lucky to get to work with such talented, passionate individuals. I feel equally fortunate to work at an institution that values student-driven curricular improvement. #VandyMed

No tools, no stencils, no talent. Just a basic kitchen knife and a desire to see my boys' faces light up with smiles. Requests this year: skull, spider, black cat. Happy Halloween!

@kelsey_barter @VUmedicine Our students are so talented that they don't need hype. They DO deserve all the recognition in the world for their accomplishments and I love being able to share in their successes - truly one of the best parts of the job! ❤️

Amazing! I remember when this was a budding idea in questioning "Why do we do this?" in our How Doctors Think course. Tremendous work by @kelsey_barter to really dig in and improve our medical practices! Inspiration->Innovation @VUmedicine #VandyMed

This is one of those don't be sad it's over, be happy that it happened moments. Dr. Yared is an amazing inspiration to students, residents, and faculty alike and I can't even begin to describe how much impact she has had on my development as an educator. @vumcpedsres @vumcpeds

Celebrating amidst the tears as Dr. Yared retires after 37 years. The consummate clinician-educator whose impact is immeasurable. Truly irreplaceable. @vumcpedsres @vumcpeds

@DrMarqBrad @ashasarm @VUMCradiology When our students come to me asking for advice on what electives to take, Peds Radiology is always near the top of the list. Important, relevant, translatable, and translational. The top-flight educators of @VUMCradiology provide an unparalleled experience.

@ReedOmary @ashasarm @VUmedicine @ErinGillaspie Shouldn't that be a guiding principle as educators? Yes, we have to teach the essentials; but there is room to satisfy the "I wish I had been taught that." If we would value it now, we surely could have valued it then! And, hopefully there is significant overlap. #VandyMed
