S&P500. Losing a big area of demand today at $585.00 - $590.00 on volume. Risk for shorts should now be a false breakdown/reclaim of demand with a close above. Next areas of demand are $577.50 - $575.00 & gap fill lower at $565.00 - $562.50. $SPY

@swingtrader I’ve liked you content, especially your gold call. Took a short position on Friday for 13 SPY June 585 strikes. The moody’s downgrade was just icing on the cake 🍰

$SPY $QQQ Again no bias, just math Calling balls and strikes This really would crash the markets. I don’t think congress ever votes it in, but it actually would cause a rush of selling and cause less longer term investing and cause more short term trading which is more volatility. Those retirees that rely on the 401k will see huge drops There would be so many other terrible unintended consequences as well. We would stall out economic growth and never make any dent into our debt. The cost of money would sky rocket so those people who need loans which isn’t the rich would be destroyed with the cost of loaning homes or cars and credit cards would be like mob payments Why people think this does anything good is a level of utter mathematic mal practice 🤦‍♂️

@TradingThomas3 Watch a hot CPI print come in, coupled with a rate cute, and watch the market lose its mind.

JPMorgan on how stocks will react to CPI tomorrow 40% chance: CPI rises between 0.3% and 0.35%. This is the most likely outcome, according to JPMorgan. Under this scenario, the $SPX could fall as much as 0.75% and gain as much as 0.75%. 25% chance: CPI increases between 0.25% and 0.3%. The $SPY would gain between 0.75% and 1.25% under this outcome as it would “likely restart the Goldilocks narrative,” according to JPMorgan. 15% chance: CPI grows between 0.35% and 0.4%. The $SPX would pull back between 1% and 1.25% under this scenario, JPMorgan said. 12.5% chance: CPI rises between 0.2% and 0.25%. The $SPY would jump 1.25% to 1.75% as September rate cut expectations surge, JPMorgan traders said. 5% chance: CPI rises more than 0.4% month over month. An increase in core goods and services inflation would drive this outcome, which would spark a sell-off of between 1.5% and 2.5% in the $SPX. 2.5% chance: CPI rises less than 0.2%. The $SPY would rally between 1.75% and 2.5% as the smaller-than-expected increase would likely be “fueled by a material decline in shelter inflation,” according to JPMorgan.

#market seems significantly underhedged for a hotter-than-expected CPI report with VIX sub 25.
