@TrawlerSeagulls There's a fight scene, not much bloodshed though. Other than that it should be ok. Its rated PG15 here in the UAE, so I guess should be fine.

**Spoilers** #Eko is Dinjith Ayyathan's follow up to last year's critically lauded and commercially successful "Kishkindha Kaandam", the 3rd part of his "animal trilogy". And wow, does he deliver! Eko draws you into its world and characters from the first scenes itself, setting up a solid mystery thriller, with a euphoric climax bringing the film to one of the best endings in recent times! Dinjith's mastery over the craft is evident throughout - taking his time to set up the characters, getting the best out of the actors, making the locale & environment an important part of the story, and ensuring that no single shot is useless. A tight screenplay from Bahul Ramesh makes his job easy. Bahul is easily one of the best new screenwriters we have, his command on the art is evident in this film. Being the film's cinematographer probably helps as well, as he beautifully sops up the hills and forest on camera, lighting and placing the characters & location perfectly, giving us the eerily beautiful frames of the film. Sooraj E. S's edits are crisp, and we do not feel the 2hrs 5mins length at any juncture. Vishnu Govind's sound mixing is top-notch, crystal-clear sounds that should be enjoyed on a really good sound system. Special shout out to the foley recorders and engineers as well - be it the dogs, forest sounds, etc. Excellent sounds! Shravan Satya's stunts are good. VFX work is also really good. Mujeeb Majeed's music takes the movie to the next level. He is fast becoming one of the best music directors out there! The use of ambient sounds, male & female choral riffs, drone and strings, all these and more taking the climax to this almost mystical or spiritual zenith! Stoked to see what he will be showcasing in Kalamkaval and Chatha Pacha! Sandeep Pradeep is turning out to be a future superstar in the making. His acting and body language is spot on for the role, literally becoming Peeyoos. Much different to what he has done previously. He exudes simplicity, and then a quiet calmness, that changes tack as the film progresses. I hope he keeps taking up good roles in his upcoming films! Vineeth is a revelation in his role, finely done. Ashokan is fast becoming a great character artist. It's heartening to see old comedy actors doing these roles in recent times. Narain as always is good in whatever he does. It is a masterstroke to cast Rahul Sachdeva as Kuriachan, and he aces the role. The guy is a really good actor, and hopefully we will see him more in Malayalam cinema. Binu Pappu and Renjit Shekar are both decent. Biana Momin as Mlaathi Chettathi is superb and so is Sim Zhi Fei who plays her younger self. Special shout out to the dog trainers who have done a fantastic job! Eko is probably one of the best films of the year. It speaks in layers, sub texts and imagery. On repeat watch, we might probably get more meaning and information than we had in the first. The screenplay has so much in it, the film has so much heart, that I hope it works. Kudos to the whole team for giving us this masterpiece and wishing we get more of such! Go watch it in a theater!
