@Niccolascito @josh_uglyasf My folks didn’t put me out at 18, I stayed home till 24, the idea is, the older a child gets, the lest focused they are on their parents and more on themselves and their future lives, to the point where parents aren’t a focus at all. We all been there.

@TreSumMusic @josh_uglyasf I think your perspective was formed from having selfish parents. Parents who “put they kids out” at 18 or don’t have a relationship past a certain age ARENT good parents. At least that’s how you’re framing it. You not even grown at 18 so why would the relationship deteriorate?
