Breaking news Police Arrest Woman After E-Hailing Driver Murder in Pretoria West A woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of an e-hailing driver who was killed inside his vehicle in Pretoria West earlier this week, authorities said. According to the South African Police Service, preliminary investigations suggest the driver was attacked and killed after two suspects a man and a woman booked a ride on Wednesday, 11 February 2026. Shortly after the incident, his body and hijacked vehicle were discovered in Atteridgeville. A video circulating on social media appears to show the violent assault inside the car, prompting police to urge the public not to share the footage as it could hinder the investigation. The female suspect is set to appear in the Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court on Monday, facing charges of murder and car hijacking, while police say further arrests are expected as the probe continues.

I believe Donald Trump & his team are fully aware of the lies they are peddling about South Africa.
I believe the goal is to:
- Get SA to back away from the Israel/Palestine conflict/Genocide and the ICJ case
- To scrap BBBEE
- To scrap Land Expropriation without Compensation
I don't think Afriforum & Solidarity are that influential, but have helped America push the false narratives they are pushing.
Trump is a natural bully. Always has been. He wants to turn the SA govt into his bitch, so he can officially turn SA into an American colony.
But to think that he's being misinformed or misled... is wrong. These guys understand the power of propaganda to achieve ends.
Sadly, he's struggling to convince other international nations. No-one is biting the bullshit, but they are doubling down coz they want to achieve their ends & coz they are trying to not be exposed for their stupidity.
You can't claim to have high intelligence, but peddle the rubbish that Trump is peddling as a president of the USA.

while you're busy finger-pointing at Lamola for the diplomatic mess, let's not forget how AfriForum and your Solidarity buddies waltzed into the White House not once, but TWICE this year (February and September) to peddle outright misinformation about South Africa.
You handed over your so-called "Malema dossier" full of unverified claims on incitement and corruption, while pushing the tired narrative of "farm murders" as some Afrikaner genocide and land expropriation as a white minority purge stuff that's been debunked as exaggerated fearmongering to stoke racial panic.
Trump lapped it up, signing that executive order to freeze aid based on your false premises about the Expropriation Act seizing white farms without compensation (it doesn't ,it's constitutional and hasn't led to a single arbitrary grab)
Even Ramaphosa called it out as anti-nation-building sabotage, and uMkhonto weSizwe filed treason charges against you for influencing foreign policy with lies.
Your "Washington Declaration" begging for more pressure on the ANC? That's not advocacy ,that's betrayal dressed as concern.

This is an unfortunate development. It could and should have been averted in the interest of South Africa and its people. @afriforum and the Solidarity Movement's efforts to find solutions suffered a major setback when @RonaldLamola , as the minister responsible for building international relations, did the reckless thing of accusing the President of the United States of promotinga white supremacist agenda. Lamola should have known that this would lead to a backlash. He did not care what the consequences would be and should be held responsible. South Africa’s strong links with Iran and other terror groups also play a major part in what we are seeing now.
