I have worked in land management for over 3 decades and am interested in seeing how we can bring together people, farming and nature for everyone's benefit.

@Natures_Voice We have taken our local council to task on this - local pressure can make a difference and does count! But we also need public messaging about the value of "untidy" and that most of our weeds are actually native plants of value to insects

Celebrate the Wakelyns second annual Dal festival with Tree Amble's latest episode! Suffolk grown lentils + 7 chefs = wonderful tastes and sounds - from a crop with low food miles and nitrogen fixing + high in protein.. @kernowbeaver @wakelyns

Ever wonder what our uplands might look like if we left areas un-grazed for long periods? This area of Tebay Common has been un-grazed for, we think, over 40 years....... Interested in your thoughts!

Think minnows are boring? Think again! Chances are, you'll have seen a minnow or two before. But have you ever seen these fab breeding colours? This is a breeding male, and during breeding season males develop a gorgeous iridescent hue which helps them attract a mate 🩵

2. It's one of the best feelings when you're able to see a scheme progressing This site has been lovingly cared for by the landowners, and has already started to attract an array of nature Here you can see the progression of one of the "thicket enclosures" from March 2022 to now!

Take a look at this funky flounder 🐟👀 Flounder are more commonly found in coastal areas, but they can travel between salt and freshwater. Our survey team found this one near Holland Wood weir on the River Darwen, which is right at the edge of the Ribble catchment's Tidal Zone!
