Important Article 🔑 $VVIX and $SPY | Friday 07/10/26 An Afternoon To Remember? 1) An ending diagonal ended on VVIX today, this AM, and it created the SPY drop this morning as volatility had its "I-cannot-take-it-anymore" moment. 2) To rescue the tape, $SVIX was pushed higher, next, challenging its previous highs leading into the $SPY ATH. And the AM $SPY drop was bought immediately. 3) VVIX is now back at the base shown below, see the yellow marks. $86 level. 4) See how the recent drops and rise levels have been building a structure higher to the right as lower highs and lows were being constructed. A complex structure. See fuchsia and green marks. Two rising beams out of the base. 5) $86 is a line in the sand. If the price is pushed below it with further suppression from SVIX, it will snap back, and surprise SPY holders like what happened in the morning, but more violent. So this afternoon, VVIX better be left alone. #VIX1D also has a reversal point today. If there is a day to call a reversal day for $VIX and volatility, I would say it is today. --> But this is a two edged sword, if Vol control funds have a plan to suppress volatility further, and VVIX will lose its important base, then SPY can resolve higher. For now, my base case is that the June 2nd macro top on SPY will hold, and we continue correcting down. $86 $VVIX is on my side, until it is not. It stood the test of time since 2024. $SMH $SOX $SKHY ADR Update 07/10/26. Today, the day started with a pump of the semis, courtesy of the Department of Good News. $NVDA China. $VIX crush today - the opposite of yesterday's price action. Why VIX crush? To prepare the bed for the event of the week, the $SKHY ADR listing tomorrow. Some $30 billions liquidity bed. The day ended with no real victory for the SMH SOX as the 20-SMA reached was all given back, also the 10-SMA closed under, and the semis bulls are left with a 5-sma recovered as part of a gap up, not even a real fight to show for. The market maker left a gap to fill lower on $QQQ to $711. Bullish markets? Overall impression, robbing Peter to pay Paul type of day. I challenge the $SMH bulls to close us above the 20-dma tomorrow. I have a longer discussion of this topic on the substack tonight including FIB Levels. $AVGO Chart Updated. Today's price action finally allows me to update the AVGO chart, one of my better forecasts this year, from June 2nd, see original quoted message. I am adding the gray line where today's AVGO price closed. This shows as part of a descending ending diagonal, which means the selling on AVGO has much more to go once this upper resistance retesting is done with. See the yellow marks for resistance, and blue marks for support line. The square boundary was retested today but rejected hard. No square access for you AVGO !!
