UPDATE: tAssets are SAFU 🌳 We’ve seen questions regarding the recent @aave V3 bad-debt situation and its potential effect on the tETH strategy. At this time, the strategy’s collateral position is wstETH, and it borrows WETH rather than supplying it. This means the strategy is not exposed to the WETH supply-side conditions associated with the current bad-debt situation at the moment. The observable effect so far has been upward pressure on borrow rates, which is compressing MEY in the short term. Positions are being adjusted as a precaution while conditions stabilise. We are continuing to monitor developments, including any second-order effects across lending markets. Following the reported rsETH security incident, the team has reviewed exposure across the tETH strategy. Treehouse does not have direct exposure to rsETH within the strategy, and no impact to user deposits has been identified. Other tAssets are not impacted. The strategy remains insulated from rsETH depeg risk. Treehouse also uses @chainlink CCIP for bridging and is not connected to the @LayerZero_Core infrastructure involved in the incident. All collateral remains fully backed and can be independently verified onchain via our Proof of Reserves dashboard: app.treehouse.finance/proof-of-reser… MEY is expected to be negative today due to a spike in borrow rates across lending markets following the incident. As a precaution while market conditions stabilise, normal and fast track redemptions have been temporarily paused. We are continuing to monitor potential secondary effects across lending markets and are optimizing strategy positioning as conditions evolve. 🌳
