Travad Tours Uganda attended this year's Pearl of Africa Tourism expo—not as exhibitors, but as active participants in the conversations that shape the future of Ugandan tourism. Over the past three days, our team engaged with lodge partners, connected with fellow operators, and absorbed insights from industry panels. We left with fresh perspectives, renewed partnerships, and a deeper commitment to crafting unforgettable journeys across this beautiful country. #POATE2026 |#TravelWithTravad

Day Two at the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo was about collaboration. The energy was focused and purposeful. Panel discussions shifted from broad market trends to actionable strategies. Meanwhile, B2B sessions are matched by Ugandan suppliers with tour operators from Europe, Asia, and the Americas— thus building commercial bridges. The third day of the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo is now underway. #POATE2026 |#TravelWithTravad

Sipi Falls is that rare kind of place that doesn’t whisper “welcome”… it shouts it in three waterfalls at once. One moment you’re admiring the view, the next you’re negotiating with your lungs, your legs, and your life choices; all on a single hike. The mist? Free facial. The climb? A personality test. The reward? Pure “wow, I didn’t know Uganda flexed like this.” Sipi Falls doesn’t need filters. It is the filter.

Chimpanzees share about 98% of their DNA with humans👀🐒 At Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary (@Chimp_Trust), rescued chimps are given a second chance through conservation, care, and protection. Smart, emotional, playful… honestly, the similarities are a little too real sometimes😭 #ExploreUganda | #TravelwithTravad

Did you know? Forest landscapes reduce the cost of producing clean water and, by storing carbon and moderating temperatures, help protect economies from climate-related disasters that can cost billions 🌳🌱💲💲

Earlier today, Travad Tours uganda together with other tour operators under @ug_tour had an unforgettable fam trip to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary🐒 Founded in 1988 as a rescue center for orphaned chimpanzees, this 100-hectare sanctuary is now home to 55 chimps (all one species). We saw their daily routines—11am fruits & veggies, 2:30pm food combos, 6pm dinner—and learned how females use implants to control births, with 10 accidental babies over the years. Every night they break fresh branches to build a new bed. The goal? Fewer rescues through community awareness and ecosystem restoration. #NgambaIsland #TravelWithTravad
