Best spots are when technicals line up with fundamental/flow stories. Short gold. Yes you have CB buying, but a CB buying a 25t asset is no different than boomers buying btc at 2t. This is not a strong counter to the short term bear view. Oil up 2x in a matter of weeks, food inflation spike coming, each additional day that hormuz isn't resolved increases odds of correlation 1 event Was bearish equities before this whole fiasco started for a myriad of reasons (mag 7 buybacks gone / fcf to zero, white collar employment scare *early innings of this*, most of all just general positioning), but now my view is that the only reason we're not significantly lower is everyone has been hedged up I like being short the chameleon trade that was already set to mean revert to the downside and now has a catalyst to do so
