My youngest son carl wanted a apprenticeship, when he was at school he was forgotten for the post 16 applications these are the applications school support you with, when I found out he wasn't getting interviews for this reason I spoke to school , the woman said it was partly due to change in staff and partly because hes quiet and just gets on with his work, now Carl's a registered carer and should also of been getting extra support because hes a young carer, school also forgot this , so I rang young carers and informed them, the following week they went to the school, carl got the help, got the support, got a engineering apprenticeship,has now been a apprentice for 2 years, and yesterday he passed his maths exam a vital part of his apprenticeship. Im a very proud.

My son Brady was born with a heart defect, coarctation of the descending aorta, it was discovered just hours after he was born and he had surgery at just 3 days old, he has annual check ups, and medication every day, he's a law student going into his third year, today he is 21, I can't believe it, hes come so far and is achieving so much, can I kindly ask people say happy birthday to brady please so I can show him, kind regards Adam, proud Dad.
