⚽️𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐯 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 🗓️𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 🏟️𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚, 𝟏𝟖:𝟎𝟎 𝐊𝐎 If all goes well, this will be our last trip outside of North Rhine-Westphalia until the final in Berlin, not that we would get carried away… Frankfurt is a great city with plenty of options for England fans. We’ll have more info in our Free Lions. The Mainufer Fan Zone, located between the Holbeinsteg and Friedensbrücke bridges on the North side of the river has plenty of things to do including football pitches, as well as a floating pitch on the water. There are multiple pop-up bars and food stalls, and a public viewing area with a 10,000 capacity for the games, with screens also situated on the water. Do not jump in the river 🤦🏼‍♂️ England fans will likely make the most of areas at the Romerberg, outside the Romer Town Hall, Sachsenhausen on the day and in the days leading up to the game, as well as Roßmarkt on matchday. Our Danish friends have a meeting point on matchday at Alte Oper. 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭 Frankfurt is in the RMV network area, which means travel within this area is free from 6am on Matchday until 6pm on Friday 21st June. The RMV Network map is extensive, but just because the location of where you are staying is on the map, it may not be included in the RMV network, such as Koblenz. You will need a ticket to the network area itself before travelling for free. You CANNOT travel from Cologne or Dusseldorf for example for free, you must buy a ticket. rmv.de/c/en/timetable… For train travel you have a few options: 1) Match ticket holders can make use of the €29.90 DB Euro tickets through the Deutsche Bahn, which gets you fast train travel on ICE trains, you must book a specific train and travel on that one, being prepared to show your Fan Pass. 2) Use the Deutschland Ticket and travel on regional trains, but be warned, this takes a long time and will involve multiple changes. 3) Check out FlixTrain services If you don’t have a match ticket, do not leave it late to book ICE trains, the prices fly up. 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 From the city centre, you can use S-Bahn lines S7, S8 and S9, with locations such as Hauptwache and the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof going direct to the stadium in around 10 minutes. England fans located in the West and South of the stadium at entrances E4 and E5 should be aiming for the Frankfurt Stadion station. It is roughly a 10 minute walk from there. From Frankfurt am Main Süd station, there are special and regional trains to Frankfurt Stadion. More info: uefa.com/euro2024/event… 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚 The stadium will open 3 hours before kick-off at 15:00. Cashless payments are preferred. Alcohol is expected to be back to normal for this game, with no restrictions on sale and normal beer percentages available, and you should be able to drink in the stands. Power banks are allowed. Carry some form of valid ID. You must get your ticket activated at the stadium by a steward at the security perimeter, it won’t work at the turnstile without this process. Bags must be no bigger than A4 size. Flags must be no bigger than 2x1.5m unless you have had pre-approval from the FA/UEFA. 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 Frankfurt Stadion station is likely to be busy but we’ve been assured there will be plenty of trains. Have patience with the volunteers who are trying to help you get away as quick as possible. Since the game finishes earlier, there should be trains after the game to get you back to where you need to be. 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐬’ 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐲 Our England Fans’ Embassy will be located at Hauptwache. We have arranged for ESTC staff to join us on matchday, times TBC. Fans’ Embassy volunteers will be there from 10am-5pm on MD-1, and on matchday 9am-3pm. Issue 186 of the Free Lions will be available to collect. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Bit of a small giveaway for somehow hitting 25000 followers. This will suit longer term followers more than likely . Name the 3 best tips I’ve made over the year’s (in my opinion). Not the biggest prices just the 3 most confident in relation to price etc. A small tip is that Valiant Force doesn’t make the top 3. First to get 2 will have €50 win bet on a tip of mine tomorrow, unless someone gets all 3 they can have €100 bet on that same horse. Id be pretty sure No one will get 3.

Remember when a 17-year-old Antonio Cassano scored this stunner in 1999?

As a long-term and vocal proponent for the wearing of shorts as much as possible, it distresses me to see people wearing jeans in this weather. @GOVUK we need an URGENT shorts awareness program, potentially drafting in professional shorts-wearers such as postmen and Ray Mears.
