@TheLoneHandmaid Like he was given a full fucking minute to shoot the deadite. I know it wouldn't have done much, but 1) it would've bought his wife a few seconds to get away. 2) he had no of knowing that shooting him wouldn't kill him.

I won't elaborate, but I am seeing so many posts defending this character from Evil Dead Burn. I think we have lost a just disgust for cowardice that we should definitely have. I think this comparison is stupid. But I will say anyone, but especially a man, who runs away from at least trying as hard as they can to defend a loved one is a coward and should be judged for that. We should all hope not to be a coward. It is strange watching all these people defending Joseph.

Has the opportunity to shoot his abusive father while hes actively harming and trying to KILL his girlfriend, after said father just killed their dog and chooses to save himself. He is a coward, and thats okay. That makes him objectively unlikable
