@KernowKoth There is only a certain amount of money to be spent, whether that is over seven days or five and a half days. Staff overheads are increased over seven days without any increase in revenue. All retailers would need to agree or legislation introduced to createa level playing field.

With the cost of employment I'm surprised that shops haven't reverted to Sunday closing and half day Wednesday Opening all the time has never worked to boost their profits and it's even less now
