🎥 OH RONAN HALE IS MAGIC!! 🗓️ 7th February 2026 🏆 League 2 🆚 Tranmere Rovers 🏟️ Priestfield Stadium A game that we felt in control of despite the possession stats, creating a larger volume of notable chances throughout. We started the game really brightly, getting into plenty of good areas before taking the lead & at the other end one ball flashed across our box was the visitors only chance of any note. Credit the away side, they looked more proactive at the start of the second period but we doubled our advantage at a good time. Despite a really good strike reducing the arrears we saw the game out fairly ok to claim our third win in five. All the best to Rovers for the rest of the season. So Patrick and Smallwood out, Obiero and Warrington in - a swap back to the 4 man box midfield we used at the end of last season. The question is who plays upfront? You look at the teams coming into L2 next year and we are only headed one way

Allowing Omari Patrick to leave tells us all we need to know about how the ownership has viewed this season. This was never a season to think of challenging. This was a season of passing over. I know that's pretty obvious now. But Mark has killed all the positives this club had.
