Today, I was honored and humbled to be sworn in to serve another term on the Ho-Chunk Supreme Court. Thank you to the Election Board, the voters & all who made today's ceremony so wonderful.

I've been serving on this commission through Minneapolis Foundation, approving grants focused on EJ. The Trump admin unlawfully terminated funding. We fought back and WON! Many communities, including rural & tribal, will benefit from these grants.

What an energizing weekend at the 2025 @WisDems annual convention! It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as Second Vice Chair these past two years. I hope I was able to effectively advocate for underrepresented communities and help open doors for others.

@CAgovernor @realDonaldTrump As a former Angeleno & Indigenous woman who earned a J.D. at UCLA, I support your efforts, but am disappointed by your language. The scalp bounty was a key method used in the attempted extermination of Native Americans, including in CA. This offensive language is painful.

I also recently commenced a term as Chief Justice for the Blackfeet Court of Appeals in Montana, appointed by the Tribal Council. I'm honored to serve the Blackfeet Nation & expand my work in Indian Country.
And I continue serving as Chief Justice for the Meskwaki Nation in Iowa

Recently, the Ho-Chunk Nation exercised its inherent tribal sovereignty through elections. I am humbled that I was re-elected to a fourth term as Associate Justice, Ho-Chunk Supreme Court, and honored to continue serving my People in this way.

He makes sure to address all voters, including those in rural areas that are often overlooked. As a Ho-Chunk citizen, I applaud his inclusion of the Native communities (we have 12 tribes in WI). DNC members, I urge you to elect @benwikler as DNC chair. He is the leader we need.

As 2nd VC of the @WisDems, I know firsthand how hard @benwikler has worked as chair for the last 5 years. We have won incredibly difficult elections, including flipping the WI Supreme Court & enacting fair maps in WI, re-electing a Democratic governor & electing President Biden.
