@Chardgrills Yes, the intention was for a planning decision to be made on Thursday, but the football club have not responded appropriately to the current request objections and so it’s back to the drawing board to a certain degree.

Agenda for the RBC planning committee meeting next week is is out and the #NFFC application does not make an appearance. Some comments of substance from the club over the next few weeks would be welcome.

If we are serious about establishing ourselves as top 10 club then there’s some big calls to be made. A statement of intent manager, Edu, Wilson, Henderson and Mulholland replacements. Then on to a stadium and training ground that reflects the ambitions of the owner. #NFFC

On this.. The planning committee date was due to be next Thursday, but #NFFC have not provided any further information on crowd and traffic management plans and so the application appears to be on hold. That is unless documentation is yet to appear on the portal.

Let’s be clear, Forest won gameweek 34 #nffc Gap to 17th & 18th maintained + 4 GD with three points fewer now available for teams below to catch us with +2 points gained to 15th +3 points gained to 14th Spurs now need a +6 turnaround in 4 games to go above us. Historically closing a 5 point gap over the final four games for any team has only happened 41/4778 times = less than 1%. Just one more point for Forest makes that turnaround +7 and therefore they will need results in 3/4 games, 2 wins and a draw at least. Just 2 more points for Forest means they need to either win 3/4 or get something from every game including 2 wins and 2 draws. The next round of games are tough for all three teams at the most risk. Wins for all seems unlikely. Something will change.

@ian87730 @Chardgrills The council has accepted that closing two lanes on Trent Bridge after a match is legally possible, but it down to the club to provide evidence that this will actually be sufficient to relieve pressure before and after matches. The same goes for closures on Radcliffe Road.

The latest comments from the councils involved do not make good reading at all. Either the club provides updated crowd management and highways information very soon or this application gets rejected it seems. #NFFC

@ian87730 @Chardgrills The councils want much more detailed transport and pedestrian assessments in the very near future or these departments will recommend that the application is rejected. Ironically, they want info to be collected for a 3pm kick off at home, of which we have had 1 all season.

@Chardgrills The last line we heard on this was from @DTathletic well over a year ago. We were looking at land at Holme Pierrpont but it never seemed to materialise. I’d imagine a move is what everyone would like, but if there are enough people driving it at the club is another question.

Nearly five years on from having planning permission granted for this building at the training ground, the club have now decided to replace the current academy changing rooms with another temporary structure. #NFFC
