I spoke with several friends who play Call of Duty casually, and overall, they found it very easy to get into the game. Most of them were under level 10 and hadn’t played Warzone or COD since Black Ops 6 launch. It took a moment for them to understand how to secure higher tier loot and exotic weapons, but they eventually figured it out.
From my perspective, the learning curve seems to come mainly from casual players not spending enough time with the game to fully grasp these systems. I believe a mode like Black Ops Royale would serve as a strong entry point for new or returning players. However, the typical casual player would likely prefer an option such as Battle Royale Casual, where they can focus on grinding camos, challenges, and event progress.
My friends didn’t care about any of that they simply wanted to jump in and play.

Black Ops Royale has lowered the barrier to entry for casual players to be on a level playing field with everyone else by removing the need to level meta weapons up.
However, the feedback I’ve seen from casual players is that they hate the mode and are leaving in masses.
The gameplay itself definitely favors sweatier players, but I want to hear from any of you who consider yourself casual, what do you think of Black Ops Royale / Blackout 2.0?
Are your casual friends playing or enjoying the mode? Let me know, I’m tryna see something.

So with BO4 initially getting marketing this early into the year
