Don't create an echo chamber, but you owe it to yourself to curate your feed to min the negative and max the positive. Follow people with different opinions and world views but make sure they are trying to pull humanity forward and not drag us backwards. Don't feed the trolls.

I put off planting Asparagus for more than a decade because waiting for 3 years before getting to eat any seemed like an impossibly long time. Time is going to happen either way so you might as well plant some seeds.

One of the perks of encouraging others to grow food is that they occasionally gift me some of their prize produce. Banana for scale.

Granadilla plants grow easily from cuttings so any time I prune I try to stick a few in a pot of soil to root then transplant into bigger pots a few months later.

I believe the correct term is "absolute unit". Luckily I'm a generous guy and willing to share my leaves with cool looking caterpillars.

Maize only made it from the Americas to Africa around 500 years ago, and to South Africa even later. Sorghum is the OG in Africa, and it pops more or less like corn.
