Just repeating myself over again but I think one of the biggest cancers to the CDL is the fact you can fly across the world to an event, only play 3-5 maps and just be gone home. That is absolutely disgraceful. I know people are going to say Royal Ravens are onliners & they should’ve put themselves in a better position to not be in the play-in position but it doesn’t matter. How are they supposed to prove themselves on LAN when they get one series to do so. I feel like there should always be a group stage on LAN that goes into seeding but then that would mess up qualifiers (nobody would care) People need time to get accustomed to the LAN environment. At the bare minimum play in matches or LR1 matches should be Best of 7 or 9.

@AaronLongoria94 @BoRi7os I agree. Play ur 1 match n be good. However i do feel like it should be longer. We do "qualifiers" bo5, "lan" should be bo7 and champ sunday bo9. Sure would be long but thats where stream A/B coming clutch.

And yes, the average spend per patron at this joint is $100+ not including tip. At a hotel so the floor plan is large. Lots of tables with great views. I expect to be tipping my server ~$100-150 as I’m covering the bill tonight. They will likely have 7-9 (or more) other tables in the same shift. If they recoup even 30% of the tip-out system as a server for their tables, that server should be making ~$300-400 per day purely off tips. And no taxes on tips anymore ;)

Are you telling me qualified chefs (I went to LeCordon Bleu London as an american btw) are only making ~$40K/yr? Im assuming the 16-20 you used here is the hourly rate But you think your system is superior..? The restaurant I’m eating at tomorrow the servers average $90K/yr if not better. The chef is very well salaried with benefits, yet no one really knows him aside from locals. This is a hotel in southern alabama… lol

Depends on the quality of restaurant but typically cooks are on decent wages, chefs are salaried. Bar staff wages + tips. Servers mainly tips. The nicer the restaurant, the more tips are shared by the whole staff. Often the bar to the restaurant tips out bar staff and wait staff. Table tips go to wait staff and cooking staff. 30/30/30/10 rule for restaurants, aka 30% of costs are building overhead, staff wages and then food costs, leaving a 10% profit margin per item. Which is why the tipping system is structured as it is. The restaurant you enjoy to eat at will not be able to stay in business for very long if this changes because they only make $1 for every $9 they have to spend to operate the business. Volume is key. Hence why a place like the one in the video has no wait staff + cheaper ingredients (mix & match setup) + high volume by small cook staff. That cook is definitely getting paid well.
