@PaulAnleitner It does not come from within themselves (Rom. 12:3; Eph 2:8). The same is true in the NT examples provided. They had an encounter with Jesus himself or one of His followers which led to a faith response (as you stated, perfect doctrine is not necessary to place faith in the...

To be clear, I'm not saying its apart from faith in Christ. I'm calling into question our conflating of faith with cognitive ascent to a particular list of propositions about Christ. Grace -> "faithing" response to the light received -> evidential fruits of the Spirit

@PaulAnleitner Just out of curiosity, what is the Scriptural basis for your belief that the unborn, etc. have access to salvation apart from faith in JC? I agree with your line of thinking about the same logic extending to those unreached peoples, I would just love to hear what it is based on.

@PaulAnleitner I agree with most of your examples, but I think this one is a little misleading. I think a better understanding would be that an unbelieving spouse can be sanctified or “made holy” in a sense of being blessed. Tht is different than being made righteous, which come only thru faith

In 1 Corinthians 7:14, Paul says that a believing spouse can make righteous an unbelieving spouse and their children.

@PaulAnleitner However, in the New Covenant, salvation comes through faith in the incarnate Son of God, who fulfilled the Law in its entirety. What are the implications for the 3 billion unreached people today with no access to the knowledge of Jesus? What is the basis for your thought...

@PaulAnleitner work of Christ). In regards to your original post, I would love to hear your thoughts on those who have no access to the knowledge of Christ coming to faith. In both the Old and New Covenants, salvation came through faith.

If one believes that salvation is available to the unborn, the infant, and the mentally disabled who do not have epistemological access to the true propositions about Jesus contained in the Scriptures & passed down to us through his Church , then is there also warranted room to
