While I would love nothing more than the following statement being true: "We'll have the biggest altseason we've ever seen and will ever dwarf what we have before" Objectively that's extremely likely not going to happen ever. I do believe that selectively opportunity does and will keep existing. Call it altcoin waves if you will. But to get something that will dwarf even what we had before is almost impossible: 1/ Before 2017 alts weren't even a real thing. They slowly made their introduction and were so few in numbers that the 2017 cycle was the first altcoin season we had. Because they were so few and limited in numbers, the first time the world discovered them and a decent amount jumped on it, everything just jumped. It literally HAD TO skyrock. Rock bottom, no holders yet, small market caps and no one to sell. The smallest amount of inflows was already enough and the total market cap back then of even the entire industry was really low. 2/ 2020-2021 had a unique set of conditions that are extremely tough to replicate. We just came out of one of the greatest economies ever. Earning to spend was great. Everyone had an abundance of money and still some left. Interest rates were near 0%. It was almost entirely free to take loans which fueled financial markets as well. Inflation was skyrocketing (good for any assets) without the after-affects yet (record high inflation while the entire world was printing money like never before but interest rates still near 0%). And likely the biggest of all: People got HUGE stimulus checks and they weren't even allowed to spend it (world on lockdown). People literally had to much money back then but they could not go to restaurants, not to any parties, not to any gatherings, not to any amusement park. The world was on lockdown so there was no spending anymore (limited). So people forced at home? With a huge amount of savings? With a huge amount of stimulus checks? And not allowed to even spend it? But being able to digitally invest on your pc at home while word about crypto spread once again? =💲💲💲 Truly glorious times. Especially as token dilution also wasn't as high as today and we weren't manipulated left and right by tradefi and institutions. (scammers were also less of a thing as they didn't knew yet how to create a token with the push of a button in 5 seconds through pumpfun) ~ I'm likely an infinitely bullish person on this industry. But also an objective and unbiased one. So I do have expectations where we are going and the waves of both upside and downside we will still get. But truthfully getting something like before isn't as easy as people make it out to be. Good engagement though to preach "biggest altseason ever"'on a regular basis. I'm as positive as anyone else. But there are factors to consider. But nothing of this will dismiss something that can still be. There doesn't need to be "the biggest altseason ever" to still have opportunity.
