@Tris10w @GamewithDave I made an entire graphics customization as a kid of this game where I basically made all enemies transparent except for one one pixel wide outline of their sprites. Made the game more fun and more difficult.

@Tris10w @GamewithDave Oni was so much ahead of everything in terms of raw action and vibe. The mechanics felt completely seamless and fluid. The whole world was so intimidating and dark. Amazing.
Max Payne gets talked about enough I think - it's a masterpiece as well.

@Tris10w @GamewithDave Before computers had full sound they had a tiny little speaker for beeps and tones. There was a driver that could be loaded at boot which allowed rudimentary SoundBlaster output. Utilized fully for Wolf3d. I want to go back.
