@EmilyPoehler I’m with Ina on this one. Why do woman have to change their names. It becomes sticky when a divorce is involved. What can’t they marry and not change names. It never made sense to me that it was the woman who had to bend, and we are till bending. I say stand proud and strong.

All depends on the last name , if the guy is a good dad husband etc absolutely the kids should have his last name at least . But if the man is a deadbeat etc then ya kids should have the mom’s last name .!

@ronsterd89 Why do they have to say no kids when the invitation go out it announce you and a guest. It doesn’t say you and your family???? Just curious. I was only at one wedding were a couple brought there two very well behaved 3 and 5 yo kids. The father was the cousin of the bride.

@KVolcanicrock @ShaniaTwain The area in live in is called the Northeast Megalopolic. We are smack in the middle. We spent many a weekend in NYC, taking in plays and the local climate. DC and Baltimore were usually day trips although we did spend several weekend in Annapolis.
