Communicating with pictures can be a universal tool when helping students. I’ve worked with special needs students, many of them use icon boards to help them remain on schedule or w/academics.

I also believe visuals and Google translate are feature that would be very helpful. I’ve also seen students use text to speech and then they translate it. Google has so many great features to choose from.

Using visuals such as map and graphs can make content easier to grasp. I could also use google translate as a tool or turn on subtitles for videos. #csubedte4200 #csubted @doctor2pi

@MissGrayBako @doctor2pi Hi miss gray,I completely forgot that class dojo has a feature where you can upload pictures. That is such a great idea to connect with students and their families. Now, I remember when my daughters teacher did this. It made my day while I was at work.

@doctor2pi A1) I can use technology to build and enhance relationships with my students and beyond by including guardians for at-home conversations. For example, I can use ClassDojo to take photos of daily activities and can assign that my students discuss their day at home #CSUBTED #EDTE

@AnahiC210 @doctor2pi Hi Anahi! Class dojo is a great app. I love how you can personalize the monsters. It’s always super cool to see what students pick and to get to know them a little more . I also picked googleclassroom as a way to get to know each student.
