Born in London but grew up in Ghana, West Africa from ages 1 to 9.

As a child, playing in Ghana. Watching my dad watch the national team play around the age of 7-8 I thought “I’d like to play for the national team”, not even thinking about what it takes to get to that point.
𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞?
My brother, dad and mom. Family, even my grandmother. My grandmother was the one who encouraged my mom to allow me to pursue football, even though our culture valued education more.

I have younger children, so in my spare time I’m being a parent- reading storytime at night, going to church every Sunday when we can, showcasing my own skills on @uncs37 on IG and putting on challenges. I enjoy interacting with supporters in my off-time.

Respecting your coaches, players, people who are helping you to progress your career. If you respect someone, your talent will show through and do all the talking. Stay respectful and humble.

From one of my old managers, non-league level: “express yourself; always be brave when you’re on the pitch and don’t let anything hold you back.” And that always sticks in my mind, to be direct and positive and enjoy what you get paid for.

Representing the national team. Being a youngster and thinking I wanted to be a national player, not yet knowing all it would take … And I actually achieved it. Representing my motherland.
