@LockandKeyHyena i think rainbow has really shown herself to value laughter more than loyalty. In that same episode, pinkie valued the loyalty to not scare fluttershy more than the laughter of the joke. So much so that in season 6 rainbow is still pulling pranks despite others asking her to stop

@LockandKeyHyena Personally, i think pinkie could be swapped with any element and itd still work. With rainbow dash in particular with any of the elements though, i think laughter fits her better than loyalty or honesty. With your idea of it being something they value more internally, in S1 E5

“applejack should have been loyalty and rainbow should have been honesty” you have fundamentally misunderstood these characters
