🚧 A new update has been released for the #Restitched: Wardrobe Demo on Steam! 🚧 Patch v1.2 offers several bug fixes, optimizations, additional recolor support for several assets, and QoL adjustments (based on player feedback). 🔧 The addition of Screen Space Global Illumination (SSGI) in #Restitched allows glowing objects and emissive textures to create semi-realistic lighting 💡 that bounces off surfaces, simulating point lights with almost no extra processing cost. 🚧 In this video, no true light sources are used. This makes it a useful technique for adding many extra decorative "lights" in one area without tanking performance! ⚠️ However, like with all "screen space effects", lighting cannot be calculated when the source is off-screen and some artifacts/noise can appear, especially on lower settings.
