@lhallwriter That's exactly how I view it. Every time I get a sale, it's a reminder that someone out there is reading it and with enough time, more will find it.

This indie author path isn't always easy and I've always embraced any numbers that are above zero. Great to finish this year with a sale. The concept of convincing one person at a time to read my works does bring rewards eventually and time really is your friend 👍

New year, new celebrations! My first ever book self-published. I had significantly more sales than expected. I currently am up to two 5 star ratings! All of that and it hasn't even been a month yet since it launched. 2026 is going to continue with that trend. Happy New Year!

@SedonaCAuthor That stuff hurt a lot of my excitement in my early days on X. I had so many profiles I thought were legit only to discover like 80% were in Africa AND trying to sell me services. It's rare to find real profiles out there it seems like.
