Most developing artists rely on a small project-based work to get their foot in the door in an already gate-kept industry. Being a “starving artist” is looking like it may become less and less attainable without being forced to become “proficient in ai tools”. The pursuit of artistic excellence must be protected at all costs. It is built on hundreds of years of blood, sweat, and tears from uncredited and unpaid artists.
