Brazilian footballer Jorginho says Chappell Roan’s security guard spoke to his wife and daughter in an “extremely aggressive manner” while they were staying at the same hotel as the singer. He said his daughter recognized Chappell and “simply walked past the singer’s table” to confirm it was her, prompting the security guard to approach their table and tell his wife she shouldn’t allow her daughter to “disrespect” or “harass” other people. He added that the guard said he would file a complaint with the hotel.

She wasn't acting. And Ledger knew it. Heath Ledger refused to do the full Joker in rehearsals. No voice, no laugh, no mannerisms. Christian Bale confirmed Ledger only turned the character on when cameras rolled. The cast had no idea what was coming. This is the party scene. Ledger is holding a knife to Gyllenhaal's face telling a fake story about his scars. Gyllenhaal couldn't maintain eye contact. She was genuinely trying to pull away from him. She was silently looking at Nolan to stop the scene. Ledger saw her break eye contact and improvised the line "Look at me." Four syllables that turned a scripted scene into something nobody on set could control. Michael Caine forgot his lines the first time he saw Ledger in full Joker. A 75-year-old actor with 130 films on his résumé, and his brain locked up. Caine wrote in his memoir last year that Ledger was "a lovely guy, very gentle and unassuming" between takes. Skateboarded around set. Then the camera turned on and everyone on the crew froze. The film made $1 billion. Ledger won a posthumous Oscar, only the second actor in history to do so. He died six months before the movie opened. He was 28. The performance that redefined what a villain could be in a studio film was built on a simple trick: never let your scene partners rehearse against the real thing. When they finally see it, you get something a director can't manufacture. Actual fear on actual faces. That's what Nolan saw through the monitor. And that's why he didn't say cut.

"Satchel Paige reached out to the 20 Major League Baseball teams about the prospect of joining them in 1968. The 62-year-old pitcher needed only 158 days on an active roster to reach the five-year minimum required to receive his pension. Nineteen teams turned him down, but on Aug. 12, 1968, Atlanta Braves President William C. Bartholomay signed the star player as a part-time pitcher and an adviser. The New York Times noted that Paige, a 17-year Negro Leagues veteran and the oldest rookie (42) to play in the majors, was “still without any trace of gray in his hair” at the news conference announcing the signing. “Satchel Paige is one of the greatest pitchers of all time,” Bartholomay told United Press International. “Baseball would be guilty of negligence should it not assure this legendary figure a place in the pension plan.” On reaching his 158 required days, Satchel Paige began drawing that Major League pension. Satchel Paige received $250 a month. The 63 year old Braves pitching coach doing agility warm-ups!

They just admitted that many American farmers haven’t secured fertiliser for this year’s planting season. Fertiliser has doubled from $325 a ton to $620. Next is corn because it requires a lot of fertiliser and it requires it in the spring. Corn has gone up 12% which is still low risk. Wheat is up 20% Cattle is up 33% already This is not financial advice. I am not a financial advisor. I’m just making observations. Do with that as you wish
