It’s with a very heavy heart that I share this. Life is so fragile. These two fine young men, of only 13 years, lost their life. A tragic accident that was no fault of their own. Bennett (pictured with me) has been to 3 of my Infield camps since he was 11. That is where I got to know him. Just saw him at Thanksgiving in Athens Georgia. He was so focused and locked in on achieving his life goals. He loved baseball. But always a big smile! Bennett, and 2 of his best friends (also age 13), were in the ATV with him. Avett (pictured on right) was also taken too soon. The 3rd friend is in critical condition, but expected to live. Note: I asked permission to make this post from Bennett’s father. They want people to know that Bennett was a believer. He had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. This is yet another reminder that life is short and to treasure each and every day we are blessed to live. We are in continual prayer for all 3 families.
