The choice was to honor a failed Genesis meta or restart with a sustainable fun game loop and reward actual players of the game. They found a good balance - new game is great.

The game was done, there were 2 options, shut it all down or restart new and reward active players and holders as best as possible.

@zedge_jpeg @derekvincennes @zed_champions I disagree, this is just addressing symptoms and not the root issue. Just like benchmarks. Ian has gambled the entire PFL business on OTB racing revenue. I hope he pulls it off cause I like PFL. Once gambling revenue is injecting into racing, all issues are solved.

Ian has gambled the entire company on OTB gambling revenue. If he can pull that off and inject gambling revenue into racing, PFL succeeds.

@derekvincennes @zed_champions Breeding is where the dopamine exists the strongest and @zed_champions is primarily a breeding game with some racing, vs the dead model of a racing game with breeding.
