It'll be a Troup High reunion in Omaha. Auburn's Ryan Bliss and Florida State's Jonathan Foster, who were both four-year starters at Troup, will be in Omaha for the College World Series starting Saturday. That is really cool. Best of luck to the Tigers and the Seminoles.

Tigers win tonight, beating that team from across town 2-1. Colby Williams pitched a complete gem of a game on Senior Night! Ethan Morton came through with a huge 2 RBI double to give Troup the only runs we needed! Play across town on Wednesday at 5:55.

BASEBALL FINAL: Troup 2, LaGrange 1

Colby Williams gets the last out of Troup’s 2-1 win over LaGrange. Colby and LaGrange’s Matthew Morgan both did outstanding work on the mound. They’ll play again on Wednesday at LaGrange. That’ll be the final Region 5-AAAA game for both teams.

Tough loss tonight against Cedartown, final score 8-3. On a positive note we swung the bats better tonight! Cooper Doughman with a solo homerun. Colby Williams had 2 hits. Caleb McCurry and Cade Garner 1 hit each. Ethan Morton and Bret Haynes each had a hit and 1 RBI.

Varsity with another region win tonight! Beating Cedartown 2-0. Colby Williams pitching the complete game with 7 strikeouts, allowing only 1 hit in 7 innings! Offensively, Cooper Doughman hit a 2 run homerun earning the only runs of the night.

Varsity with another region win tonight against Sandy Creek final score 8-0 in 5 innings. Another great outing by Colby Williams who struck out 9 batters through 5 innings. At the plate Cooper Doughman went 3-3 Colby Williams and Colton Webb each had 2 hits and Tre Mosley 1 hit
