After a great deal of gratitude and reflection, I want to share that I will be transitioning from WAVE 3 News in Louisville later this year as I begin the search for my next opportunity. Since joining WAVE in 2023, Louisville has given me more than I could have asked for professionally. I have had the privilege of covering incredible moments, including the resurgence of Louisville basketball, major transitions for the Kentucky Wildcats, multiple Kentucky Derby winners, a memorable PGA Championship, and most recently the Indiana Hoosiers’ historic 16-0 national championship run. More importantly, I am deeply thankful for the people at WAVE 3. The anchors, reporters, photographers, producers, editors, and mentors I have worked alongside continue to make me better every day and have set a standard I will carry forward. This upcoming transition is also personal. By the grace of God, I met my fiancée @MCarterTV here in Louisville and am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her. She accepted a position in Seattle over the summer, and after spending time three time zones apart, I am preparing to join her in the Pacific Northwest. Over the coming months, I will be actively seeking opportunities in the Seattle market within sports journalism and related roles. I also am open to remote opportunities. I remain fully committed to my work at WAVE 3 during this period and am grateful to continue serving Louisville for the remainder of my time here.
