@stocktalkweekly Congrats champ, I’ve been following you for quite a while now.
I wanted to ask if there’s any chance of getting a student promo code. Paying $180 a month is quite tough for me at the moment, especially since I’m not trading with large position sizes yet. Thanks in advance.

Now up to 29 positions in the portfolio. Most ever for me. I actually really like them all. Very few "peripheral" fliers in this composition. Strong thematic relevance.
Thesis, entries, cost-basis & weightings all available transparently at whop.com/stocktalk/stoc…
Cheers🍻

When I first started my service, it was $20/month. I realized within the first year that demand was insatiable, because thousands of members signed up & hardly anyone ever cancelled. So, prices had to go up.
Every year since, I've had to continue to raise prices to moderate the never-ending stream of new members.
Our service is uniquely transparent. I share all my positions, weightings, cost-basis, and live entries & exits.
I also share my performance along the way. I started sharing my portfolio transparently at the beginning of 2024, and since then we've posted 3 consecutive triple-digit return years (+260%, +505%, and +115% so far this year).
All of my picks are swings or investments. No scalps or day-trades. I don't share a new ticker every week, and the portfolio stays tight with anywhere from 10 up to 25 positions at a time.
No OTC, no illiquid ADRs, no meme stocks, no 0DTEs. All U.S. listed names with a real thesis. I never, ever pump & dump on our members and I don't shill weak narratives.
Our competitors either A) have 200 positions with no sense of conviction or B) share ideas, but don't share their entries/exits/weightings or C) share new ideas every day or week and pump & dump on their members.
We do none of the above.
People who are tired of "idea" sharing with new charts, stocks, and half-baked thesis shared every week have found that our service provides a much more easily followable structure with clear indications as to what exactly I'm doing. That's why so few people ever leave.
If our service is too expensive for you, that's fine! I share plenty of free ideas on Spaces and on my X feed. But, if you want to know what a real trading & investing community looks like, I encourage you to check us out. Cheers 🍻

$HIMS bulls should be worried, IMO.
$HIMS revenue went down from $586M in Q1 to $545M in Q2.
They now need to hit ~$610M/Q in Q3 and Q4 just to hit the *midpoint* of their 2025 FY guide. They are guiding for only $580M at the midpoint for Q3…
Yeah, that’s right - the midpoint of their Q3 guidance is STILL lower than their Q1 actual revenue. LOWER projection for Q3 than for Q1 actual….Where’s this explosive growth all these delirious bulls keep yapping about?
The fact is, the core business is slowing *badly* and the phony GLP-1 personalization scheme is the only thing keeping this company’s stock on two feet (now staggering, admittedly). Feel free to dream about a TRT launch. That’ll be by FAR the most difficult vertical they’ve ever entered and the Ryan-Haight legislation situation could eliminate that vertical *completely* if things don’t go well.
We are looking at the beginning of the end of the $HIMS hyper-growth story.
I don’t care what the stock price does today/tomorrow/this week. The retail cult has already proven itself (largely, with some exceptions) incapable of complex reasoning with this stock, and the option/short interest/convertible debt variables can do funny things to the stock price in the short term. It should be down after its first “consensus miss” *ever*, but who knows.
In the long run, if $HIMS is going to be a “hit the midpoint” company like this, it’s lights out for the type of massive upside the stock has been seeing this year.

Ethereum.
Fun fact: I met @VitalikButerin in 2013 at the San Jose Bitcoin conference when he was writing for Bitcoin Magazine (his writing was great).
A few months later I invited him to come by Coinbase's first office in San Francisco for a visit and he showed us some cool stuff on his laptop. Fred, Olaf, and I decided we should try to hire him, and reached out to see if he would be interested in joining us. But due to a series of circumstances, including him not being able to get a work visa in the U.S., it didn't work out and he had to go back to Canada.
While he was stuck in Canada he created Ethereum. So, in a way, the sub-optimal immigration system in the U.S. contributed to the creation of Ethereum.
Happy 10th birthday Ethereum!
