🇬🇪 Rustaveli is a place where there is space for everyone - people of all religious, political, ethnic and other diverse views. Meanwhile, the Georgian Church still grants access selectively. The regime needs to stand at a church microphone to show and prove how pious it is. We don't need that. We live by our own principles, guided by the values Christianity teaches, even outside the church. Enough of Phariseeism and blind obedience to dogmas that restrict people. We want to turn the whole country into Rustaveli - a free, independent space built on mutual respect.

Just a few hours after the funeral of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the pro-government and sanctioned Imedi TV released a manipulative video report 🫠 The segment focuses on the Patriarch's role during the Russo-Georgian War, with propagandists claiming that the Patriarch was "angry" with the previous government for not informing him that the war was about to begin. Through this subjectively interpreted video report, Imedi appears to be exploiting the moment to redirect the Georgian people's emotions against the previous government again, push them into hatred and deepen divisions within society.
