Massachusetts sucks for music, Even rare good bands from there don’t have any real MA identifiable vibe. Only true MA band is Modern Lovers because their thing is “what if someone wanted to be NYC punk but they’re a socially awkward nerd who hates fun & is a menace in a car”

@Trummors @TheStalwart Several years ago, under the spell of lots of Tony Rice and David Grier, I got some fanciful notion that I would teach myself to flatpick. Gave up very quickly; that shit is pure witchcraft

One thing that is NOT intuitive to me at all, is that right handed guitarists do their most technically complex work with their left hand, while the right hand can often get away with just really repetitive strums, whose only job is to stay on beat.
