It's alarming how many Americans, esp students, are being misled, misguided & misinformed thru brainwashing by real socialists/communists with nice sounding promises of socialism without mentioning the flaws & the negative effects it brought to other countries who tried it. Extensive research is necessary to wake up people. But will they do research? How do you turn this around? If there are still smart Democrat voters out there, they shouldn't give radical socialist candidates any seat in Congress bcuz they will eventually take over the Dem Party & boot the establishment members out. It's already happening today. Are there many ignorant fools like this dude out there who can't even distinguish socialism from socializing? Vote wisely.

I asked a DSA leader to pitch you socialism. This is the elevator pitch that he used to convert 1000s of voters into socialists and he did it door to door. The DSA got 3 socialist congressional candidates to win their primaries, so I would listen. If you would want to see who the DSA really are and what they stand for like abolishing prisons then I'd recommend the YouTube video in the comments.

Why does he think you can't do those things now under capitalism? This guy is dumb, as are most who follow socialism. And the term Democratic socialism doesn't make it any more palatable, socialism is socialism. And too often it devolves into communism. My word people are stupid these days.

It might not have been that either but Trumps corruption and political interference was unprecedented and although this is lost of many Americans for a number of intellectual and behavioural reasons, on this matter alone it might well be deemed the worst. Time will tell. Then there was the criminal exploitation and profiteering on ticket and travel prices. Disgusting, but again, the American way, I guess.
