Mint Chip has not only evolved as an artist, but as a person. His early work was parody meme rap, built on provocation and cultural timing. Find the nerve, embellish it, make people laugh (and squirm), which then causes people to share. It worked. It was funny. It was designed to move fast, hit hard and didn't ask to be taken seriously. But that business model has a shelf life. Artists have to grow. Evolve. The Mint Chip who first burst onto the scene in 2016 is comically different than the man he is today.
