Today’s Burnley programme features our friend and former colleague Len Johnrose who passed away on Monday. There will be an applause in the 16th minute for him here at Turf Moor @BBCLancsSport


Len Johnrose is now communicating with his family and friends using his own voice, which he banked after being diagnosed with #mnd. The ex Blackburn Rovers and Burnley midfielder says being able to use his voice again with the help of a machine has been a huge boost. #bbcsport

Friday 15th July at Darwen Golf club. Rovers legends Colin Hendry and David speedie will be in the chair with Andy Bayes hosting. Tickets are £25. All proceeds will be donated to the Tony Parkes Alzheimer’s and the Lenny Johnrose MND charity’s.
