Spent this weekend wiring @cavosxyz into @TrustlessWork escrows and hit an interesting wall, their contracts need the user's signature on the escrow role. but our txs are relayed + gasless. First thing: our Stellar accounts are classic G… (ed25519), and a relayer paying gas is easy to conflate with a relayer signing, they're not the same thing. I just had to make sure our architecture actually kept them separate. The G… address you see has its master key at weight 0, powerless. The real signer is a separate control key at weight 1, that only the user can unlock. So "who signs" was never the relayer to begin with. The key part: that control key lives encrypted in an on-chain envelope, unlocked client-side (device / passkey / recovery or any method the user may authorize), so as you can imagine, this model keeps on being selfcustodial :) For the escrow itself, a TW invocation spreads auth across 6 roles, each an Address behind require_auth. What clicked: I only need to re-sign the user's SorobanAuthorizationEntry with their control key (authorizeEntry) and leave every other role's entry alone. Then the relayer just wraps the already-signed tx in a fee-bump and signs the outer envelope only. It pays gas, authorizes nothing. I even made the validator reject any inner op sourced by the relayer, so it can't sneak in. End result on-chain: require_auth(user) is satisfied by the user's own G address. The escrow sees the user. Gasless and self custodial at the same time, no complex setup behind, pure math! Got it working e2e against a live escrow on testnet today. Pretty happy with how clean it ended up. Today, during the Technical Wednesday at Morpho Studio, we built a cooperative/payroll MVP for Costa Rican fishermen using @TrustlessWork escrow-based payment flows on Stellar. The entire thing was developed live using the newest @cursor_ai Composer 2.5. From ideas becoming functional blockchain products in just a few hours, it still feels unreal. @BuildOnStellar @TheBAFNetwork

Our first hackathon at Boundless just wrapped and I'm proud in a way I didn't expect. 114 builders signed up. 34 shipped projects in 4 days on Stellar. Programmable trust, real escrow flows, real working software, all built in less time than most people take to plan a sprint. Proud of every team that shipped.
