By profession, I’m an HSE Officer. I’ve spent years around heavy equipment, high-risk environments, incident reports, near misses, and men and women pretending they’re okay. But strangely enough… I also enjoy anonymous stories. Maybe because after years in safety, you realize people are harder to read than hazards. Machines give warning signs. Humans hide theirs. I’ve seen experienced workers break down silently. Seen pride cause accidents. Seen one ignored conversation almost destroy entire projects. That’s why safety is deeper than helmets and procedures to me. It’s psychology. Pressure. Fatigue. Ego. Silence. I’m also a husband and father, so maybe that changes how I see people now. You start understanding that everybody is carrying something invisible. Sometimes the most dangerous thing on a site isn’t the equipment. It’s the truth nobody wants to say out loud. 見に来てくれてありがとうございます。」

Ok listen to me VERY carefully 1. You visit her one last time "to pick up your stuff" 2. You apologize to her parents that it didn't work out 3. You tell each parent what you learned from them and that you'll carry it with you for the rest of your life 4. They get a bittersweet feeling and will miss you 5. You make sure to remember their birthdays and send them a message on other holidays to make them never forget you 6. You are now the ex they'll compare every future boyfriend to 7. The expectations and the pressure will slow cook her subconsciously. She'll only bring bad options home. 8. They'll nag at her. "Leon was a good guy and you let him go" they'll say, sabotaging her future relationships further and slowly making her resent her parents 9. Her parents will start texting you, saying you were the best she ever brought home and that they'll miss you. 10. You say you're sorry, you really tried your best...but it takes two to make a relationship work 11. They start pressuring her to try again. She will decline at first. 12. After 10 more failed relationships and increased pressure from her parents, she gives in. She agrees to meet you once more. 13. You meet with her as a friend. You enjoy your meeting. You remind her of the good times you've had together. She starts to think "Maybe it just wasn't the right time" 14. She opens up to you, gives you another chance. You meet her a few times. Nothing happens. You are friendly but you keep your distance. 15. She finally falls in love with you. That's when you tell her you only view her as a friend and you can't stand her weird hairline. You leave and never look back FIN

A Reverend sister marries a man and suddenly people are surprised, it's just two people finally being honest about what their bodies wanted all along. Forcing celibacy on adults is cruel and unnatural. Nature always wins.

Before I met my man, I once met one “unfortunate” guy here in Abuja 😭 It was love at first sight. Everything just clicked…like we had known each other for years. I’m a playful person, so I jokingly told him: “Let me come and pay your groom price.”😂 This man said okay. Next thing? He called his mum. I thought it was cruise. It was not. His mum actually spoke to me and said: “₦2 million.” I laughed and said: “Mummy, omo yin ma cheap ma” 😂 Everything was going smoothly… Until one morning I got this message from him. That message reset my brain. Abuja men will humble you. All these fine boys with big cars and no ring? Just know…their wives are not in Abuja 😂

I'll give you just 3 financial updates. Take them seriously. 1. Forget about building a house for now. That should be the least of your worries. That 50 to 100 million naira you want to waste on building can set you up for life. Even if you are not good at business or investing, simply put the money in Money Market Funds (MMF). You can do this through your bank or fintech apps like Opay, PalmPay, Cowrywise, and PiggyVest, where you can earn up to 20% annually. If you invest 100 million, you will earn 20 million naira every year while still keeping full access to your capital. 2. Save 30% of your income every single month and invest it consistently. Even If you earn as low as 100k naira monthly and save 30k, that is 360k in the first year. Put it in MMF or government securities and keep adding every month. Repeat this discipline for 10 years. With current double-digit returns, you will not have less than 8 million naira and you can easily cross 10 million if rates stay strong. 3. If you can afford a small car, buy one, maintain it properly, and use it for mobility and business. Stop attending important meetings and presenting proposals on bike or keke. A car puts you two steps ahead immediately. Bonus tip: Instead of buying one land for 10 million and spending 100 million to build a house on it, buy 11 pieces of land. Do proper due diligence, surveillance, and documentation, then leave them for 5 to 10 years to appreciate. You could easily make nothing less than 500 million from that move. Above all, love God.
