Heels clicking against the marble floor as they proceeded to the elevator. "Vought Tower was built in 2013 for the one hundred and seventh birthday of our founder Frederick Vought. It was designed by Zaha Hadid-- as you can see, it's a classic modern."

"Great." And she's clapping her hands-- just like magic summoning a swarm of interns. One to hand out fliers, another a drink, another snacks, and another for souvenirs. "Let's begin then!"

She'd quickly receive the text, putting her under 'Lois Lane - Daily Planet'. "I can give you a tour of Vought tower if you like? Show you our hall of heroes?" Everything was tainted with PR for this one.

"Of course!" She'd say a little too excitedly, typing her number into the other's phoneโ saving it under 'Victoria Vale, Vought'.

"Well, you are / the / investigative journalist, so I suspect you know when your sources are trying to sell you a story or not." She'd give a slight shrug. "You need sourcesโ you just tell me and I'll contact everyone on my list."

She'd allow her lips to purse into a thin line. "I haven't heard of any of those from my side of the pond, and I'm the superhero industry itself." A pretty bold claim, of course. "Well, if you need sourcesโ I can definitely help."

Well, there was certainly a lot of superhero issues in Vought but she wasn't about to get loose lipped over that in front of a journalist. "Superhero issues?" She's feigning innocence.

"So, are you still writing these days?" She's trying to make very small talk, hands moving to her pockets.

Oh she's absolutely flustered! Lane was practically a god to her growing up. "For your publicity needsโ anything. You give me a call." She'd slip a card out of her pocket. 'Victoria Vale - Vought International Chief Operating Officer' it read.

Lois Lane? Like from that big paper? Cue her immediately going into publicity mode. "Oh my god! I loved your Luthor Corp exposeโ and the piece on the red son scandal. I used it as a source material for my dissertation in college." Extending her hand. "Victoria Vale."

A quiet 'huh' dispersed. She'd observe the other with a curious look. "I haven't seen you around here before."

"You married?" Withdrawing her hand.

Raising her hand to show the diamond ring.

That Homelander fellaโ what a handsome devil.

Movies that mock their genre while also being a great example of it.
