As you get older you realize life can always turn for the worst at any given moment, today that curveball was unfortunately thrown at me. I have lost my greatest friend ever, Mac. I am completely distraught and am so confused, we rescued him back in 2018 and he was the greatest animal I’ve ever owned, he was so incredibly social with others and loved me dearly. This week has been awful, 4 days ago he was perfectly fine rubbing up on me and purring like always until he became deathly ill, and on top of all of this two days ago I found out my friend has cancer. I don’t understand why God or whoever does these things but it’s just so draining on the soul. I will never have a sweetie like this again, he was truly one of a kind. Having to dig a hole and rest his limp body is the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. I will be stepping away from social media for the foreseeable future, I need time to process all of this. I hope you all can understand ❤️ I’m going to miss his hard friendly bites so so much. The vet was extremely expensive as we got meds and bloodwork before they realized he just wasn’t going to make it, I will drop my KOFI donation link below if anyone would like to help out. Terran R is moving very fast, I can't wait for the maiden flight!!

Terran R continues moving closer to first flight, with major testing milestones underway and operations scaling across the program. 🏗️ Build: All vehicle structures and closeouts were completed on the stage 1 qualification article, transitioning the hardware from manufacturing to factory test. 🔥 Test: Stage 1 qualification testing began, stage 2 arrived safely at NASA Stennis, and acceptance testing was completed for all flight one Aeon R first stage engines. 🌴 Launch: At LC-16, water farm tanks were installed, LOX farm tanks activated, and infrastructure continued advancing toward operational readiness. 🔭 Advancing science: We announced the Interplanetary Sciences Program (ISP), expanding our work to advance interplanetary science.

@Truthful_ast Crazy that someone would think a starship launch isn’t that exciting. lol. Like wtf. A starship launch is one of the most mind blowing experiences anyone could ever have. It could be its 10,000th launch and it would still be incredible.

Starship Flight 13 isn’t that exciting in itself but what comes after is what’s truly exciting If the mission succeeds at all objectives that means Flight 14 will see a booster catch and the Ship will finally go orbital adding Starlink V3’s to the network 🙏

Catching is less complex and safer than legs. Comparing the capacity of the first version without upgrades to Falcon 9 Block 5 is heavily biased, you have to compare it to the first variant. Starship is much larger and better but that’s not what this is about, it also uses a catch system.

@Truthful_ast congrats? great achievement but isn't this just a more complicated falcon 9 system that doesn't have more launch capacity then it? Falcon 9 probably cheaper and more reliable and needs less infrastructure to land. while Starship is significantly bigger with alot more capacity

Buddy thinks rocket science is as easy as just "copying" ignoring everything else you need to do develop. None of these lifters even follow the definiton of "copy" and are outpacing every other rocket outside of Falcon 9, NG, and Starship. Most American lifters suck in comparison to the development speed of China's rockets. You are uneducated and have no idea how aerospace engineering works

@Edo040923 @markzhangart Simply not true, Chopsticks are way more complex and harder than a cable catch system, I think everyone has forgotten just how hard the Starship catch system is.
