As a contractor, stop being an asshole. Your people will be more productive, there would be less accidents and distractions and fewer people would leave the jobsite.
Construction is already a burden to the community. Loud noises starting early in the morning, streets filled with dirt, machinery trailers, workmen's vehicles, etc and the one thing that you can give back is a little relief to people when nature calls.
Most people ask quite nicely and get a "go for it" response from me.
You don't know what the hell you are doing if your are turning a jobsite into a living hell.
